A descriptive study to assess the knowledge regarding bag technique among A.N.M. Nursing students at selected Index Nursing School, Indore (M.P.)

Abstract
The "bag technique" emphasizes minimizing cross-contamination in healthcare settings, particularly in nursing, to enhance the effectiveness and cleanliness of home visit procedures.
Aim: The study's objective is to evaluate ANM students' understanding of bag method at a particular INDEX school of nursing in Indore in order to give questionnaires. The research study employed a descriptive methodology.
Materials and procedures: The study used a descriptive research design with a quantitative research technique.Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the total 40 samples that were collected from ANM nursing students at a particular INDEX school of nursing in Indore (M.P.) using non-probability convenience.
Conclusion: The study's main conclusions show that 51.33% of ANM nursing students fall into the good group, while 46.67% fall into the average category.According to statistical analysis, the total mean knowledge score was 15.8. Accordingly, the study found no meaningful correlation with the chosen sociodemographic factors. Thus, alternative hypothesis H1 is rejected and null hypothesis H0 is kept.
